In the past, some registrants have received phone calls in which the caller misrepresents their affiliation with MES and/or the conference hotel. They may (falsely) claim the room block is almost full or the rate has dropped. Please note: MEEA will never contact you by phone about hotel reservations. MEEA is proud to provide travel support for government employees and non-profit organizations attending our annual Midwest Energy Solutions Conference.
Reimbursements will be granted up to a maximum amount of $750 to be used for travel and hotel costs.
MEEA will review all applicants and give priority to government officials, followed by non-profit organizations and other interested parties.
The conference attendee is responsible for conference registration costs. Recipients will be required to submit itemized receipts and cover sheet after the conference to receive reimbursement. Housing funds can only be used for hotel rooms in MEEA's block at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile.
